Hi! I'm Chelsey
Design is my way of making everyday experiences easier and more enjoyable. I have always been drawn to problem-solving and creativity, which led me to UI/UX design—where small details can make a big difference. I hold a Diploma in Graphic Design and Photography. I am studying for a Bachelor of Design, where I am building my  user experience, interaction design, and design research skills. My studies have given me a strong foundation in visual communication, user-centered design, and problem-solving, helping me create designs that are clear, accessible, and user-friendly.
My studies taught me to understand user needs, research, and test designs to improve digital experiences. I have worked on projects involving storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps, designing simple and detailed wireframes and prototypes for websites and mobile apps. I also focus on organising project information so that it makes sense for both users and businesses.
Living with Asperger’s has helped me develop strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of inclusive design. I see how frustrating lousy design can be and work to create solutions that make interactions more straightforward and more accessible for everyone. My projects have also helped me learn more about service design, accessibility, and responsive design, which are key to creating better digital experiences.
Outside of design, I love photographing fairy wrens—tiny, fast birds full of personality, just like me! They remind me that small things can have a significant impact, a lesson I bring into my work. With a positive attitude, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for user-friendly design, I am committed to creating digital experiences that are simple, inclusive, and effective.
